You heard me telling Chad about the crazy, little hairy ants that are invading the U.S. They moved up from South America and they travel in motorcycles, cargo, hay bales and just about anything else. Now, here's the fun part:

If they are attacked a chemical is released that sends a signal to the other ants to come to its rescue. "Pretty soon you have a ball of ants", according to Roger Gold a professor at Texas A & M.

They recently invaded a pipeline in Texas and shut it down! In Mississippi a man was run out of his home. One good thing about the ants is they wipeout fire ants.
