Daviess-McLean County Relay for Life Officially Rescheduled

This morning here on the WBKR morning show, we chatted with our friend Anna Way from the American Cancer Society. She called in to let us know that Relay For Life 2020 has been officially rescheduled.

The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 6th. But, due to the coronavirus outbreak and social distancing guidelines in place, ACS is being proactive and rescheduling the event.

Relay for Life Daviess/McLean County is now Saturday, August 22nd from 4pm to 10pm at Smothers Park in downtown Owensboro.

And, an important reminder. Though the event is postponed, team registrations are not. In fact, this is the perfect time to round up your social media warriors and build your teams. As Anna says, "Cancer never sleeps and we can't either."
