Most people head to French Lick to hit the casino or to Big Splash Adventure but if you're looking for a laid-back fun date night staying in we found the place for you in the basement of the hotel.

Pluto's Alley and Arcade are located in the former crawl space of the Springs Hotel.   The walk to get to them is quite narrow but a super fun experience.  The walls are made out of chiseled rock and lined with pictures of what the hallway looked like before.

There are only six lanes but is totally cozy and great for date night.  Joe and I were the only ones in the whole place.  We loved it.  The staff said they don't stay too busy because most people aren't aware they are down there.

There is also an arcade full of games from nostalgic games to new ones.  We played Jurassic Park Adventure and of course, I was out before Joe.

We had already eaten but if we hadn't we could have eaten at the Pizza Parlor.  They sell whole pizzas or by the slice.

It truly is a hidden gem.  We didn't even have to leave the hotel or gamble to have a good time.  We had a date night for a total of $16 for both of us.

As if all that wasn't awesome enough they also have a bar (Pluto's Well) with seven big-screen TVs.  We don't drink but it would be a totally awesome place to have a birthday party and stay the night in the hotel.
