I don't have a peanut allergy, but I do have Crohn's Disease which means no nuts or seeds in my diet. I missed my peanut butter so much. Until now!

I always loved my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Especially, when it's made with homemade preserves. There's just nothing better. If I eat peanut butter, it's not a good thing. I don't have a peanut allergy, but it's rough on someone with Crohn's Disease.

I was shopping at the grocery store recently and walked by the peanut butter and jelly aisle. Something caught my eye and I wondered. Could that be good? It's only around $5.00, so I thought it would be worth a taste. I got it home and whipped up a "non-peanut butter" & strawberry jelly sandwich and gave it a try. It's such a wonderful alternative and so good. I'm not sure if I would eat it by itself, but with the bread and jelly, it really is good. I'm a VERY picky eater so I surprised myself. You may be surprised too!
