There are so many candies from my childhood that I miss these days. Some of them are back in production after pleas from fans to starting making them again. Creme Savers in orange dreamsicle and strawberries and cream flavors are some of the most recent throwbacks I have seen in stores again.

Altoid Sours Discontinued in 2010

Some other fruity goodness that is launching a comeback is on the sour side of the aisle, but I am SO excited to enjoy them again! Do you remember Altoid Sours? I ALWAYS had a tin of them in my backpack when I was in high school and college. The Mars-Wrigley company discontinued them 14 years ago due to low demand. What the heck, y'all!

Altoid Sours Get New Life in 2024

The good news is, there is a company called Iconic Candy that saw the online petitions and social media posts galore . It just so happens they specialize in reviving and producing old sweets that fans love and miss. They'll be whipping up some Altoid Sours with a brand new, but still nostalgic name and look. Retro Sours is what they will be called. If you don't remember them, imagine if Sour Patch Kid was a hard candy.

What Flavors of Altoid Sours Will Come Back?

According to their Instagram post, we can expect three flavors. Tangerine, Mango, and Citrus. I'll definitely be missing the Raspberry, but I'll take what I can get! I love that they even look how they used to. With the handy tin and everything.

Where Can I Find Altoid/Retro Sours?

The first retail store to bring them to the world is none other that good ole Cracker Barrel. Retro Sours will fit right in with the rest of the nostalgic candy collection they offer up. So, this month, when you go get your biscuits and gravy fix at CB, browse around the country store and pick up some mouth-watering candies and enjoy the memories that come flooding back!
