As you know, one of my very favorite Christmas specials is Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. It teaches the true meaning of the holiday season with some very catchy and heartfelt music. You can never go wrong with Muppets. *Some good news ahead if you haven't seen it in awhile**

However, if you scan the internet you'll find some funny outtakes courtesy of The Jim Henson Company.

We see Alice Otter in both clips and it's important to note her voice wasn't dubbed in yet. Frank Oz (Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Yoda) was the muppeteer.

First up, Alice and Emmet watch the aftermath of the Riverbottom Nightmare Band's destruction of the local music store and well, the drum that rolls out the door...

Next, we have a few short outtakes, one with Emmet and Wendell and then Alice with Hetty Muskrat.

Now as far was seeing it, you'll probably still have to buy a copy on DVD. We have two copies in the family.

However, if you have Amazon Prime, you can now watch it anytime you want. Yes! and Merry Christmas!
