Eric Church, Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton Lead CMA Nominations With Five Each

The 50th Annual CMA Awards nominations are here! First-time nominee Maren Morris is nominated for New Artist of the Year, Single and Song of the Year ("My Church"), Album of the Year (Hero), and Female Vocalist of the Year. Wow! Just as Chris Stapleton took last year's ceremony by storm, on stage and off, the 26-year-old Texas native may see a similar scenario play out.

Speaking of Stapleton, he's coming off a monster year of momentum and it has earned him five nods: the coveted Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year (he won last year), Single of the Year ("Nobody to Blame") Music Video of the Year ("Fire Away"), and is nominated with his wife Morgane for Musical Event of the Year ("You Are My Sunshine").

Eric Church's five nominations are for Single and Song of the Year ("Record Year" shout out to co-writer Jeff Hyde!), Album of the Year (Mr. Misunderstood), Male Vocalist of the Year, and Music Video of the Year ("Record Year").

Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley earned four each. Urban is up for Entertainer of Year, Album of the Year (Ripchord), Male Vocalist of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year for his single with Carrie Underwood ("The Fighter"). Bentley is nominated for Album of the Year (Black), Male Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year ("Different for Girls" with Elle King), and Music Video of the Year ("Somewhere on a Beach").

CMA Awards Show co-host Carrie Underwood earned three nominations: Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (Storyteller), and for Female Vocalist of the Year.
