One of the fun things about going to Nashville is that you never know who you are going to see out and about. Whether downtown or at the mall, you could run into any number of celebrities who call Music City home.

This weekend, my friend Haley, AKA King of Brasher's Lil Nashville, was whoopin' it up on Broadway. As always, Robert's Western World was HOPPIN' with those classic honky tonk vibes under neon lights. The occasional surprise guest draws epic crowds for a great night out.

Which is exactly what Haley found as she looked up to the stage and saw...Ronnie Dunn? OR wait, Kacey Musgraves? A moment of confusion gave way to laughter and cheers as everyone realized what was happening. Kacey decided to have a little fun dressing up as her old pal. Keep scrolling to hear Haley's eyewitness account of the performance. Here's her Facebook post:

Kacey herself made an Instagram post and tagged him and shared, "btw ronnie did nothing to deserve this."

What Was Ronnie's Reaction

In the comments, Ronnie said, "Damn, I look good." The goatee, the shag, the glasses, the all-black with the huge buckle, the SAUNTER. SO accurate, I had to do a double-take myself.

As Kacey took to the stage, the familiar tune started to play. Of course, she had to take her impersonation to the next level by performing a song she once recorded with Brooks & Dunn on their 2019 Reboot album.

Kacey Musgraves New Album

Kacey has a new album of her own coming out May 1st called Middle of Nowhere. She's already released the first song and a VERY interesting music video for Dry Spell:

I guess it would make sense that if she is going through a dry spell, she may look to have some fun elsewhere, right? I swear, she is a HOOT, but I don't think I have ever seen Brooks OR Dunn move like this. "Just lookin' for some boot scootin' booty," she says.

Haley shared that she had never been to Robert's Western World, but she had heard that sometimes country artists randomly pop up to perform, and well...the rumors are true! You NEVER know what's gonna happen on a night out in downtown Nashville! Hear about this hilarious evening from Haley herself.
