Carrie Underwood fans got a HUGE treat this morning in Nashville!  Carrie's most devoted followers were welcomed to an invitation-only fan club party at The Grand Ole Opry!  When we arrived for our broadcast, fans were lined up from the Opry box office down to the parking lot.  Among the fans who made the trip to Nashville, Sydney Smith of Owensboro, KY and her good friend Morgan Edgar, from Opp, Alabama!  Sydney's a 5-year member of the Fan Club (which, by the way, is celebrating its 5th year) and a 4-year veteran of the Carrie Fan Club Party!  This was Morgan's very first trip to Nashville for the big celebration!  And the girls had a BLAST!!!

During the party, Carrie treated her fans to a private concert in which she performed some of her biggest hits like "Last Name," "Jesus, Take The Wheel," "Wasted," and "Cowboy Cassanova."  She also rocked out "There's A Place For Us" from the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack.  Needless to say, the 300 plus fans in attendance got an amazing up-close-and-personal concert with the one and only Carrie Underwood!

And, after the concert, all the fans were treated to Carrie Underwood gift bags complete with autographed photo books, fan club shirts and certificates for cupcakes.  (Insert the sound of Jaclyn squealing like a schoolgirl who sees Justin Bieber at the mall!)  Apparently, someone in Carrie's band is married to the woman who owns Ivy Cupcakes in Nashville.  (Insert the sound of Jaclyn firing up the GMC Acadia and peeling out of the Opry Mills parking lot).  Ooh.  Ooh.  And, speaking of vehicles, the truck that Carrie used in her concert tour was in front of the Opry for fan photo ops!  (It was the truck Carrie soared over the crowd in during her performance of "Take Me Home Country Roads!"

Of course, a lot of those Carrie fans, including Sydney and Morgan, will be back at the Opry tonight, when Carrie takes the stage with Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, Martina McBride and more!
