Get Ready For Foreigner’s 50th Anniversary Tour In Kentucky
One of the first concerts I ever went to was a Foreigner concert. I saw them in 1985 at Roberts Stadium in Evansville. I'll never forget it. I was 13-years-old. They had just scored a massive #1 hit on the Billboard chart with "I Want To Know What Love Is."
I won my tickets on the radio- from WSTO, the stationed that I listened to (and recorded songs off of) religiously. My mom didn't want me to miss out on the chance to go see them, so she took me to the show. She scored major 'single mom' points that night.
I can still remember standing outside the stadium as we waited for the gates to open. Here's another blast from that past. Their opening act? A band called Giuffria. Remember them?
That night was awesome and Foreigner killed it. That was over forty years ago and guess what? The band's still at it and about the launch their 50th Anniversary Tour!
Foreigner just announced their 2026 dates and there's a stop at Beaver Dam Amphitheatre on the schedule. Yes! The legendary band is coming to Ohio County, Kentucky in September.

Tickets for Foreigner: Celebrating Fifty Years go on sale to the general public Friday, February 27th at 10am CST. There is also an exclusive Artist Fan Club and Beaver Dam Amphitheatre presale. To get your tickets early, simply sign up for the amphitheatre's newsletter at BeaverDamAmp.com.
