Friday After 5 Moves Season Opener Indoors [Video]

Friday After 5 is kicking off its brand new season and it gets underway tonight in downtown Owensboro. This marks the free festival's 22nd anniversary season and tonight's lineup is awesome.  The "We Are Family" season is going to start with a bang.  But it's going to do it indoors!

Mother Nature has refused to cooperate with plans for the season opener, so Executive Director Teresa Thomas has announced that tonight's festivities will move indoors at RiverPark Center and the Owensboro Convention Center.

The 70's and 80's group V-Groove will be headlining Friday night's opener on the Jagoe Homes Patio Stage, which is now going to be inside the RiverPark Center.  Here's a look at V-Groove in action from a gig in Louisville.

Local favorite Andy Brasher will help kick-start the season.  He'll be playing an acoustic set from 7pm to 10pm at the Atmos Energy Courtyard, which will also be inside RiverPark Center.

And Quiet Hollers will be rounding out the night at the Legendary Party at the Pier from 8pm to 11:30pm.  The Quiet Hollers will now be performing inside the Owensboro Convention Center.
