Here’s the Exciting Lineup for Friday After 5’s Season Kickoff in Owensboro

The 26th season of Friday After 5 gets underway this weekend in downtown Owensboro and the lineup for the season opener promises an amazing kickoff for the summer concert series.

Here's a look at the bands and acts scheduled to perform on Friday, May 20th!

Plus, Friday After 5 is kicking off its 2022 season with Brescia University's 5K Run/Walk, which starts and ends at the McConnell Plaza, home of the Atmos Amphitheatre.  Race time is 6:30pm and on-site registrations begin at 4pm.

And, this is fun, there will be karaoke at the VFW!

Friday After 5 has moved west this year and there's a new event map in place for the duration of the 2022 season.

Opening night of the 2022 season has officially been declared OWENSBORO CITY NIGHT!  Naturally, the City of Owensboro has some fun things planned in conjunction with the Kroger Street Fair.  As usual, there will be a great line up of food trucks and vendors. Plus, there will be Owensboro Fire Department fire trucks on display, as well as Dare Cars and other City of Owensboro vehicles.

And this is fun! The Owensboro Fine Art Museum is inviting folks to help create a community mural. It will be on display and under "construction" at McConnell Plaza, where Disc Daddys will be sharing music and getting everyone amped up for the big 5K run.
