Hancock County's official Sorghum Festival is one of the biggest festivals in the tri-state. The event attracts thousands of visitors annually for a fun day of fellowship. The Hawesville community has so many wonderful residents. My husband managed a bank in the area and fell in love with the people, the community, and the small-town vibe. I grew up in a small town and feel it as well when I visit. Now, you'll have a chance to visit this weekend as well.
