Owensboro, Kentucky will soon be home to a brand new thrift store and proceeds from it will benefit two local nonprofits. Gifted Thrift has announced plans for its grand opening celebration. The doors will open officially at 10am, Saturday, June 15th.

Owner/operator Angel Welsh, who also serves as Executive Director of My Sister's Keeper, shared a sneak peek on social media Sunday. Here's a look at the photos from inside the store, which is stocked, organized and ready to welcome bargain shoppers.

As you'll see, Gifted Thrift offers clothing and accessories for adults and children, plus housewares, furniture, decor, toys, and more.

Gifted Thrift is located at 1706 JR Miller Boulevard in Owensboro, Kentucky. Store hours will be Tuesday-Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Proceeds from Gifted Thrift will benefit Angel's shelter- My Sister's Keeper, which is an emergency homeless shelter for women and children. The shelter opened earlier this year and is already having a significant and positive impact on its residents.

Proceeds will also benefit the local nonprofit Friends of Sinners, where Angel's husband Joe serves as Executive Director. Friends of Sinners is a Christ-based recovery program here in town. They're committed to providing a safe, structured, post treatment environment, in which residents can establish a strong, spiritual foundation in recovery.
