Girls Inc of Owensboro Hosting Bake Sale for Local Homeless

Raise your hand if you love cookies! Angel here and I'm raising two in excitement for the Girls Inc of Owensboro Bake Sale happening this week and you are invited.

MISSION

The main mission of Girls is to teach girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold. They have been busy this summer with different classes, theme weeks, and activities to educate them in a variety of ways.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

One special activity the girls have been working on will benefit another community organization and here's what the girls have been doing:

The Rolling Heights 5-Teens class has been participating in a series of leadership classes led by Board Trustee Nikie Walker.

Part of the class was to come up with a community service project. Girls decided to host a bake sale on Thursday, July 15 from 10 AM-12 PM to benefit St. Benedict’s Women Shelter!
Girls and community members will have baked goods up for grabs as well as some chips. Kona Ice will also be here and will be donating 25% of sales to the girls’ cause as well!

We sure hope you are able to swing by and show your support for our STRONG, SMART, and BOLD teens!

Red on the River Reverse Raffle is happening on JULY 31, 2021 in person at the RiverPark Center! There is a $2,500 CASH PRIZE and you don't have to be present to win! Chad always hosts the event so it will be a blast.

Raffle/Admission tickets are $50 each. Sponsorships are available!
