Hancock County Schools Close Due to Illness

We've heard very recently about a flu outbreak in Kentucky. Even the Kentucky Wildcats have been affected as three players were unavailable for the Georgia game Tuesday.

Well now, 14News-WFIE is reporting the closure of Hancock County schools due to illness.

Flu, strep throat, and stomach viruses seem to be the culprit.

Please take care of yourselves during this unseasonably warm winter.

I dealt with it on a much lesser scale about a month ago and I know folks who are still going through it and some who are actually going through it AGAIN.

Again, Hancock County schools will be closed Thursday and Friday due to illness.
