Here’s Some Cool Owensboro Items I Found on EBay [PHOTOS]
I love to find antiques that are local to where I am. I found some very unique items related to Owensboro on EBay. Let's take a trip to the past shall we?
I have a friend who found one of these not long ago. It does a have a few surface scratches on the bottom, but it's in good condition. See more about it HERE.
This is a nice license plate topper from the 1940's. The topper ended up in Collierville, Tennessee.
Wow! I know a few folks who might want this. The seller says it's in "excellent condition".
I know we just had the BBQ festival, but check out this 10th anniversary t-shirt! I love a vintage tee.
Have you ever heard of the Kentucky Radio Corporation or Ken-Rad? The company pioneered the development and the manufacturing of incandescent light bulbs. The company was eventually sold to MPD, which still operates at the corner of 9th and J.R Miller. This 100W 12V bulb, believe it or not, according to the seller is new and unused. Of course it could have been a factory second.
And here's the most-watched Owensboro related item on EBay right now:
James H. Hickman was one of the city's best-loved mayors; he was elected six times. He also started the first city park, then called Hickman Park, he purchased the land for $4,000. It would eventually be known as Legion Park. Hickman was also in the wagon business. This tin sign is from 1906 and you'll find several like it on Ebay.
