History was made this weekend in Louisville.  Lauren Wallace is the first representative from Daviess County to win a State Fair Pageant title and we are so proud.

The Miss Teen Kentucky State Fair Pageant has always been held in October in Louisville.  The girls venture for a weekend of meeting new friends, hair and makeup, interviews, and of course the big night.  Pageant day includes an interview, an opening number, cocktail, evening gown

In the 65 years of the state fair pageants, there has never been a winner from Daviess County.  The Kentucky State Pageants date back to 1956 and while we've had some contestants place in the Top 5 we have never had anyone take the crown.  Our county has always been represented by the most intelligent, beautiful, fun-loving ladies with the most amazing personalities.  We have the best.  You just never know what the judges are thinking from one night to the next.
