The week of Christmas, I had the pleasure of broadcasting live from the Owensboro Museum of Science and History. I hate to admit this, but in my six and a half years of living here, it was my very first time to visit the museum! Even though I didn't really know what to expect, I was very surprised at how many cool things the museum has to offer!

If you've never been, I highly recommend taking some time and checking it out! Admission to the museum is only $3.00 per person, ages two and under are FREE. The yearly memberships are very reasonable and I plan to get one for me and Carsyn. For children, there is SO much to see! But, it's a great place for adults too.

Take a look at some of my pics from my time there.

The Owensboro Museum of Science and History offers a wide range of educational programming to school groups and other organizations. From the exciting SpeedZeum to the hands-on ENCOUNTER to the Wendell Ford Government Education Center, they have programs that will excite, entertain and educate. Diversity programs, leadership institutes and seminars, student forums and history and science based activities are just a few of the wonderful educational programs offered at the Owensboro Museum. There are always events at the museum including the Coal Mine Public Tour.

The museum can also be rented out for birthday parties and other events. You know me, I love shopping, no matter where I am, ha! The Owensboro Museum of Science and History's museum store has so much to choose from! There are so many interesting and fun items available for purchase. Select from an assortment of KENTUCKY CRAFTED handmade items, science-oriented games, books and toys and historical books and souvenirs.
