In-class instruction was already cancelled through April 30th in Indiana. Now, the Hoosier State's governor has extended it much further.

According to NBC5-Chicago, Governor Eric Holcomb has announced at all Indiana schools will stay closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

The announcement comes on the heels of the new case announcement in Indiana, which reported 474 new COVID-19 cases and 13 additional deaths.

This brings the state's total to 3,039. There have now been 78 novel coronavirus-related deaths there.
