VFW Post 3418 Welcomes Public to Community Night

Many communities aren't as lucky as ours to have active clubs willing to host community events. For instance, VFW's are private clubs for Veterans of Foreign Wars and their families. However, a few times a month, they open to the public for community events. These community events are just as important to the veterans as they are to the civilians of the community. For veterans, events like this with their community remind them exactly what they fought so hard for. Boonville VFW Post 3418 is having this exact kind of event with its Community Night on Friday, October 16.

Bring the Whole Family for Community Night

The club will be hosting an outdoor movie around dusk (approximately 6:10-6:15 pm). This isn't just your everyday backyard setup either. Paradise Backyard Cinema are full service, movie experience professionals. We're talking 14- to 24-foot screens outside! But the fun starts long before the movie! At 5 pm, kids who dress up in costumes are welcome to come trick-or-treat for free. Bring your own chairs for outdoor seating, and you're also welcome to bring your own snacks. Concessions and restrooms will be available on site. Admission to the event is free.

VFW Post 3418 Offers Nightly Events and Entertainment

Veteran clubs offer various events throughout the week, and Post 3418 is no exception. Every Thursday, you can catch some serious bingo players, duking it out for jackpots of over a thousand dollars. Gaming machines are also available at all times during regular business hours. If cards are more your thing, don't miss their various poker tournaments and weekly poker on Wednesdays and Sundays. If you're a veteran looking for more membership information, check out all things VFW here.
