The Vanderburgh Humane Society

The VHS has been a part of the Evansville community since it was founded in 1957.  Since then countless animals have been saved and found their forever homes. The VHS works hard to make sure that homeless pets in our community are taken care of and given a second chance.

The Vanderburgh Humane Society has pets of all shapes and sizes.  If you're in the market to add a furry family member to your home, the VHS can help you find your perfect fit.  As our friend Kendall Paul, the Executive Director of the VHS likes to say the VHS has "all makes and models, and all are certified pre-owned!"

Adoption Special

Animal Shelters across the country are all struggling with full shelters, and the Evansville area is no exception.  With kennels being full, the VHS is working hard to help get pets out the door and into their forever homes, so going on until February 17th, the VHS is offering 50% off all adoption fees for dogs over 6 months, cats, and kittens.

VHS decided to promote this adoption special being extended by hilariously parodying car dealership commercials, and the result is priceless! Their video currently sits at more than 25K likes on Tik Tok.
