James and the Giant Peach Musical Production Coming to the RiverPark Center! [TRAILER]

The musical production of James and the Giant Peach opens this weekend at the RiverPark Center. Based on Roald Dahl's children's book, this will be FUN for all ages!

When I was growing up I loved this book. I can't even tell you how many times that I checked it out of the library, to transport into a world of fantasy. I always felt invested in the story and wanted to crawl inside that giant peach with James and our insect friends. Do you remember the Old Green Grasshopper? I just remember the beautiful message with this story. Basically, James had to look past all of the insect's differences, and not be scared in order for them to become best friends. A beautiful message indeed. I really need to read James and the Giant Peach again after 30 years. Or, how about watching the musical version this weekend!

Encore Musicals is bringing the musical production of James and the Giant Peach to Owensboro. It's a time to celebrate local talent. There will be four chances to see this incredible musical. Thursday, April 11th, 2019 at 7:30pm  -  Friday, April 12th at 7:30pm  -  Saturday, April 13th at 7:30pm and Sunday April 14th at 2:00pm. Tickets are as low as $15 for any of the shows.
