They are back! It's been a few years since Breckinridge County, Kentucky-based Jericho Woods released new music to their fans here in Kentucky and Tennessee. But, today marks a resurrection of sorts. The band just dropped their first single in about three years.

While all the band members have been working since the pandemic began, they haven't had the opportunity to work together until now. Some, like frontman Josh Mitcham, were working on solo projects. Josh's album hit the iTunes Country and Americana charts. Some band members have been playing with other artists- artists like including Elvie Shane (from Leitchfield, KY), who stormed onto the Billboard Country Chart recently with his big hit "My Boy."
Well, Jericho Woods is ready to storm the charts themselves.  They have reunited to record a brand new album, which is expected to drop on Friday, May 5th.
To get their fans excited for that new project, the band just released the single "Stop Signs and Fence Lines", which is the title track for that upcoming album.

According to the band, "The single touches on the feeling of driving through the countryside, which is very much the backdrop for songwriter Josh Mitcham's family farm." That farm, by the way, is where the new Jericho Woods record was recorded.
If you're not familiar with Jericho Woods, here's how their music is described:
One part Grand Ole Opry and one part Heartland Rock; a music experience that only folks brought up in this diverse Commonwealth could produce. With influences ranging from traditional country, jam bands, and roots rock; to folk, bluegrass and Red Dirt . . . Jericho Woods takes the best of these and craft great music, plain and simple.
Here's a sample of their new song "Stop Signs and Fence Lines." This will give you a real taste of what Jericho Woods is all about.
And stay tuned for new live performances from Jericho Woods. It's been nearly three years since they last appeared together on stage at the 26th Annual Master Musicians Festival.

Jericho Woods has opened for artists like Dwight Yoakam, Sturgill Simpson, Aaron Lewis, Robert Earl Keen, Sundy Best and more.
