Juice Box Heroes and Royal South Headline Friday After 5 Tonight

We are now officially a month and a half into the 25th anniversary season of Friday After 5 in downtown Owensboro. It's Week #6! Here's a look at all the acts taking the stage tonight along the "Mile of Music."

We're now a month and a half into the 25th anniversary season of Friday After 5. Here's a look at who's playing which stage and when tonight in downtown Owensboro.

It's going to be an amazing night of music and, like usual, there's something on the schedule for everyone.

The Juice Box Heroes are most definitely a Friday After 5 favorite. Here's an example why!

While they're headlining the Ruoff Party Stage down at the Owensboro Convention Center, Royal South will be headlining the Jagoe Homes Patio Stage at the RiverPark Center.

And before Royal South, check out Lauren Davidson on the Jagoe Homes Patio Stage. Just last week, she released a new song called "Thinking About You."

Plus, don't forget, if you know a singer, duo, trio or band that would love to play at Friday After 5, we have their opportunity. Registrations are now open for Round #3 of WBKR's Friday Night Fight. We've teamed up with Friday After 5 and the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center for a fun talent contest that offers a grand prize of $1000 and the right to headline the Ruoff Party Stage on the final night of Friday After 5's 25th Anniversary season.

Last Friday, June 18th, we had our second audition and the following two acts advanced to our finale event, which is set for Friday, August 6th. Kentucky Shine, who you can hear tonight on the Atmos Courtyard, advanced. So did Mitchell Douglas, who brought a huge crowd with him to cheer him on to victory last Friday.

Joining Mitchell and Kentucky Shine in our finals will be EV Mae and TJ Aaron. They qualified during our first open audition on May 28th. Now, there's just once more chance for your favorite local band or singer to get qualified.
