Katie Bouchard of Owensboro Makes Top Ten at Miss Kentucky Pageant

We are so very proud of Katie Bouchard of Owensboro.  Saturday night in Lexington, she made the Top Ten at the Miss Kentucky Pageant!  Here's video of the exciting moment.

Katie says, "I was a nervous wreck!  But, as soon as I was called I was so surprised and so excited.  I'm pretty sure I ran to the front of the stage.

This was Katie's second year competing for the title of Miss Kentucky.  Last year, she was named the pageant's Newcomer of the Year.  This year, she, of course, made Top Ten!  Will Katie's third time be the charm? I asked her if she plans to return for a third trip and her response was quick and definitive.  Katie replied, "Yes!  Absolutely!"

Meanwhile, this year's winner, Molly Matney, will now represent the Commonwealth in the Miss America Pageant!
