Ke'Asha Phillips has been playing golf competitively since she was in the 4th grade. Since that time, her passion for the sport has turned golf into a career for her. Today, she is the assistant golf coach at Brescia University and also works at Ben Hawes Golf Course here in town. While she loves teaching and coaching golf, her inner drive is calling her to play professionally. Her ultimate dream? A spot on the LPGA Tour.

Ke'Asha graduated from Owensboro High School back in 2017. She won the 2nd Region title when she was a junior and senior. In her senior year, she also played her way to a 3rd place finish in the KHSAA State Golf Tournament. She's also grown accustomed to winning titles too. She won the 2015 KY Junior Amateur Championship, the 2020 Kentucky Women's Stroke Play Championship and the 2022 Kentucky Women's Open Championship. In other words, Ke'Asha can play!

After graduating from OHS, Ke'Asha played collegiate golf for Xavier, where she earned a Top 6 finish and two Top 10 finishes. Today, she's sharing her love of the game with her team at Brescia University and the youth she teaches at Ben Hawes.

Now, she's ready to make a run for the big leagues! Next month, Ke'Asha's family is hosting a plate lunch fundraiser to help raise money necessary to help her pursue that goal.
