Kentucky Attorney Facing Enough Fraud Charges to Potentially Put Him Away for More Than 40 Years
A case coming out of Western Kentucky has become national news and, in fact, is being reported by U.S. New and World Report.
You know, it's both really easy and kind of hard to write about something that makes me this angry. I want to get this out there but then stop and consider how many people this guy has allegedly harmed.
An Associated Press story is reporting that Kentucky attorney James Grant King is facing multiple charges of fraud after allegedly bilking his clients out of insurance settlements to the tune of more than half a million dollars.
Mind-boggling, yes, but it doesn't stop there believe it or not.
The story also says that he's allegedly been committing identity theft and wire fraud for the last ten years.
There's also something about a personal loan for nearly $100,000.
If he's convicted, King could be sent away for 42 years.
