I enjoy corn mazes. The longest I've ever been in one was about an hour, so kudos to those particular designers. And kudos to the corn for being tall enough to make my visit a true adventure; I'm very tall and I can see over most maze "walls."

Field of Screams

This fall, in Brandenburg, Kentucky, I hope the corn is as high as an elephant's eye, as the song goes, because its premiere haunted attraction, Field of Screams, as a new, fun design that pays homage to a mysterious and spooky "tradition" we've all enjoyed for some 80 years.

Last year, guests were "treated" to the Grim Reaper. (There are also a few pro tips here for 2025 visitors.)

Alien Corn Maze

This year, Field of Screams will celebrate UFO culture, and my hat is off to WLKY in Louisville for this creepy reveal and its disturbing soundtrack.

Haunted Hayride

From September 13th through October 31st, from dusk until 1 AM, patrons will not only enjoy a stroll through the alien maze, but also have the time (or scares) of their lives at the other Field of Screams attractions. That includes the Hayride 2 Hell. I could describe it for you, but whoever wrote this knocked it out of the park, and I must defer to them...

A hellish haunted hayride through a monster-infested terrain like few have ever experienced! The foggy field of this old farm is crawling with evil spirits that linger around every corner. There are various locations of horror where creatures anticipate your wagon to break down, leaving you with nowhere to go!

Here's your map...

Have fun, and maybe take a little holy water?
