How's your Christmas shopping going? Have you even started? Regardless, you'd still probably make room for a shopping trip that would take you to some of Kentucky's best Christmas markets, wouldn't you?

The Holiday Market at Preservation Station

I'm going to start right here in my own backyard with Christmas at Preservation Station in West Louisville, Kentucky. This unique market is always a treasure trove of distinctive gift ideas. It's a no-brainer to start your holiday journey here.

The Shaker Village Christmas Market

A trip to Harrodsburg, the oldest city in Kentucky, has long been on my bucket list, and I can't think of a better time to cross it off than the holiday season. Because it's been around since 1774, there's practically no end to what you could discover here. But the Shaker Village should be on the docket if you go, and especially now that its popular Christmas market is open.

Christmas Gift & Decor Show

And then you can enjoy a fun "holiday weekend" (yes, I mean that both ways) in Louisville, where there is no end to the Christmas-themed fun or the Christmas shopping. Naturally, about the latter, you have tons of options, but don't leave the city without browsing the Christmas Gift & Decor Show at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

It's an expo center, and it will be filled with Christmas...floor to ceiling (I guess) and wall to wall. Maybe you won't even need to start your 2025 Christmas shopping until you get there. I mean, with more than 750 booths to shop, there's no telling how big a vehicle you're going to need.
