This is Guy. His origin story is all too common, however, he is a pretty special fella. His dad, Alex, first discovered the poor little kitten as he was tearing open a bag of trash outside of Alex's house looking for food. Alex already had a diva of a cat he didn't think would enjoy a sibling, so he shooed him away.  Guy spent the next few days "mean mugging" him until Alex really started to like him. Perseverance pays off!

After a vet visit, he was officially named and introduced to Maxine tha Queen. "I'll never forget the first day I brought him in, and he laid on a bed and went to sleep knowing he was safe."  Look at this precious picture! Sweet baby!

One day, Alex sat down to eat some popcorn, and he looked over to find Guy watching him very intently while pantomiming his chewing! Thinking it was a fluke, Alex ate another piece, and sure enough! It was the cutest thing ever! Of course, he had to treat Guy to a piece of the popcorn which is now his favorite snack, Cousin Willie's White Cheddar.

Is the chewing bad for him?

"I've asked the vet and they always told me no. They said it can mean tooth decay or mouth pain, but he has nice healthy chompers."

Do you always give him food when he chews?

"We give him a little bite of the things we can. Cats can't eat a lot of stuff, so I always google it first. He always gets a nibble if I make a video, it's his actor's fee."

How do you know Cousin Willie's favorite popcorn?

"Because he goes wild once he smells it, and will not eat certain types because he is a snob. He hates ACT II and Popsecret."

Does he have any other favorite foods?

"Yes! He literally goes wild when I bring home a rotisserie chicken. He's also a big fan of cooked sweet potatoes. Overall he's a fan of most foods."

Do your other cats like human food?

"We have 2 other cats and they don't have much interest in human food."

How do you keep him from eating the other cats' food?

"The other cats have microchip feeders that only open when their microchips are nearby and close again when they walk away."
