
Kentucky WWII Veteran Receives Letter from Late Brother…73 Years After It Was Written
This has become one of my all-time favorite stories. My grandfather served in the navy during World War II and if I ever came across a letter HE wrote that no one had ever seen, I'd flip out.
The story of Lexington's Bill McCord is a flat-out extraordinary one.
His brother, Lieutenant David McCord, was killed during WWII.
Bill received the letter a few days prior to Veterans Day.
