So says the man himself in a new interview with Esquire magazine.  I've seen Kid Rock in concert more times than any other act and the energy he brings live is really a thing to see and admire.  But now that he's 40, Bob Ritchie thinks he may have made a mistake in choosing his on-stage name/persona.  Quote: "It's the worst name in the world.  The only person that had a dumber name than me was the Fresh Prince.  Hey, it sounded like a cool rap name when I was sixteen, But it stuck, and now it's me.  I'll be an eighty-year-old man-'call me the kid.'"  That stupid name has sold Kid Rock many platinum albums and sold out concerts; I wouldn't complain.  The full interview in Esquire hits newsstands next Tuesday.
