Here’s How You Can “Chill Out” in Owensboro on National Tax Day

National Tax Day is coming up on Tuesday, April 18th and Kona Ice of Owensboro is encouraging you, to combat the stress of that day that many feel, to chill out.  And, here at WBKR, we're joining forces with them to encourage you to do the same!

Kona Ice has a long, company tradition of hosting "Chill Out" days all across the country and here's why (according to the company website).

National Tax Day can be a stressful day. No one wants to worry about deadlines and payments. So we at Kona Ice are going to make your day as relaxing as possible—we’re turning Tax Day into Chill Out Day!

So, to help you "Chill Out", we're working with Kona Ice to host a celebration event here at the WBKR studios at 3301 Frederica Street in Owensboro.

From Noon to 1pm that day, Kona Ice of Owensboro will be set up in the WBKR parking lot and will be giving away FREE Kona Ice to everyone who stops by.  I can already taste the Tiger's Blood and Pina Colada.
