Chris Herrell is 39 years old and has been married to his wife Laurie for 15 years. Chris is an Owensboro High School and Kentucky Wesleyan College graduate. He and his wife have three young children. Chris works for the Cincinnati Reds and was recently diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a rare form of blood cancer.

His only cure is a bone marrow transplant. Presently, no donors in the bone marrow registry match Chris. A match must be found to save his life.

KWC is hosting a bone marrow registry drive in honor of Chris Thursday, February 28th and Saturday, March 2nd.

Thursday, February 28th - 10:00am - 2:00pm in the Winchester Center at KWC

Saturday, March 2nd - 10:00am - 2:00pm in the Woodward Health and Recreation Center at KWC

This is a VERY easy process, shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes. A simple q-tip swab is all it takes to register! The paperwork will take longer than the actual testing!

Please help out in this great cause!
