The Green River District Health Department reported that we have 14 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases in the district. 8 of those are in Daviess County. The total number of cases reported in the district is now at 115. Here's a breakdown of the positive cases.
On Wednesday April 8th, 2020 the Green River District Health Department reported 14 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases – 8 in Daviess County, 1 in Henderson County, 1 in McLean County, 1 in Ohio County, and 3 in Webster County. The total number of cases reported in the district is now 115.
“It is crucial we do everything we can to stop the spread of COVID-19. Stay home, avoid crowds, wash your hands, and practice physical social distancing – staying at least 6 feet away from others. The lab confirmed cases are only a portion of what is in the community.” said Clay Horton, Public Health Director. “We expect to see more new cases and an increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations. We all play a part in stopping the spread of COVID-19.”
