There is absolutely no question that Leslie Jordan made the most of the COVID-19 quarantine.  In fact, it's hard to argue against the claim that Jordan was truly one of the unexpected breakout stars of 2020.  The videos he posted to social media during his isolation in Chattanooga were absolutely hysterical.  He had people just about everywhere saying "What are ya'll doin'?" and, my personal favorite, "Well, s%#@."  LOL!

Well, get ready for this.  Leslie Jordan is coming to The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville later this month.  He'll be appearing Saturday, May 22nd.  Naturally, he broke the news on social media yesterday doing what he does best.  Video!  And, this time, he wrangled some very special "country" help too- from Tanya Tucker, Brothers Osborne, and Charlie Worsham.  Take a look!

In addition to Leslie Jordan, the May 22nd show is pretty star-packed.  Joining Leslie will be Vince Gill, Carly Pearce and others.

The Grand Ole Opry, by the way, has resumed weekly shows and welcomed back audiences.  Plus, they have reopened their very popular backstage tours.  By the way, if you've never taken a tour backstage, do it!  You get to hear great "behind-the-scenes" stories involving some of country music's biggest names and get an up close and personal look at the iconic green room and the seemingly endless dressing rooms.

Having been involved with the Opry for years and years, I have spent a lot of time backstage and I have some really fun stories of my own.  Like the time I went to the restroom and Charles Kelley from Lady A walked in and towered over my stall because he's the size of a giraffe.  And the time I may have (allegedly) "borrowed" a package of Chips Ahoy cookies from Keith Urban's dressing room.  Or the time Erich Church told me about getting home one day to find a fan (not an oscillating one, but a real live human fan) sitting on his front porch.

The Opry is full of stories, so go be a part of it.  And definitely do not miss Leslie Jordan.
