I love checking out all the local photos from the Evansville Photography Group on Facebook. It proves there is beauty around us all the time! This week, I wanted to focus on the photography that highlights local history. Local photographers Warrena J Barnerd shot some out-of-this-world photos at The Battle of Sacramento. John Faith and Nicholas Calderone took photos at the Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous: Authentic Revolutionary War reenactment with simulated battles, period vendors and demonstrations. Carolyn Schottel from Carolyn Jane Photography and Amy Corressell Ellis got some amazing shots of the historic courthouse in downtown Evansville at last week's Lunch on the Lawn.
