This hurts! A University of Louisville sophomore participated in a half-court shot contest at a Women's game at the KFC Yum! Center last Thursday night and he completed the gauntlet (layup, free throw, 3-pointer, half-court shot). One problem, he's not getting the payout. Why? He's played basketball before. Huh?!?

20-year-old Jackson Logsdon played basketball for three years in high school. He's also an out-of-state student which means his tuition is probably a little higher. The rules state anyone participating in the contest can not have played basketball in the past six years.

And how much did he lose? $38,000, dang! U of L athletics spokesman Ira Green said they are making sure Logsdon doesn't walk away totally empty-handed for his achievement.

Okay, I get it, it's cool to watch a non-player make the big shot, but it's not fair to those, like me, who have some basketball skills. Granted mine were put to bed before my freshman year in high school, still would I be disqualified?
