There’s just something about Fordsville, Kentucky! That small-town vibe, the kind where everyone knows your name and folks still wave when you pass by, it's a rare kind of charm. Some of the nicest people in the tri-state call this place home, and every time I visit, I’m reminded of where I grew up in Northern Michigan. It’s that same feeling of community, comfort, and connection that keeps me coming back and supporting the small, local businesses that make towns like this so special. Whether it’s grabbing a plate of down-home cooking at the Fordsville Diner, hitting up the Hwy 54 community sale, or celebrating at Fordsville Days, it always feels like home.

Mason’s Odds & Ends Joins the Neighborhood

Renee Mason recently opened Mason’s Odds & Ends, and it’s already becoming a local favorite! Conveniently located at 34 East Main Street in Fordsville, Kentucky, right next to the Fordsville Diner, it’s easy to find and hard to leave empty-handed. The shop is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is closed on Fridays. However, customers can still pick up orders between 3 and 5 p.m. on Fridays. Please note that hours are subject to change, so it’s a good idea to check ahead before visiting.
