Meet Chad’s Dog Simon on National Love Your Pet Day [Photos]

It's National Love Your Pet Day and I am celebrating by introducing you to our newest dog Simon!  Simon was WBKR's SPARKY Pet of the Week on April 5th of last year.  The moment he entered the studio I absolutely fell in love with him.  I mean, look at this face!

Here's the pic from Simon's SPARKY day on the morning show.  As you can see, it was love at first sight.

I immediately texted Kevin the photo above and he immediately texted back a big fat "NO!"  However, later that day . . . Simon was at our house for a home visit.  He never left.  Nearly a year later, he is loving life in his forever home.  And we love him back.  He's adorable, precocious, playful, lovable and hilarious!

And it didn't take long for Simon to realize that my lap is THE place to be.

Before Simon, Yogi was the undisputed pest of the house.  LOL!  But he has met his match in Simon.  Simon chases Yogi all over the house, humps him, and bites his leg to trip him.  Yogi retaliates by body slamming Simon to the ground.  Yogi's bigger, faster and stronger, so despite Simon's persistence and agility, Yogi typically has the upper hand (or paw). They are a scream to watch.  And, honestly, I think Simon completely changed Yogi's life and he wouldn't have it any other way.

We wouldn't either.
