Motorcyclist Killed in West Parrish Avenue Accident

Earlier this afternoon, Owensboro police contacted me about a road block that was being set up on West Parrish Avenue due to an accident.

We've just received word that a motorcyclist was killed in that accident.

The section of West Parrish between Bosley Road and Independence Avenue had been closed because of the wreck, which happened at the Parrish/Bosley intersection.

But now, Owensboro police say the road will remain closed for the purposes of accident reconstruction.

Motorists have been asked to find alternate routes until authorities are finished at the scene.
