Theatre Workshop of Owensboro Presents ‘Summer Shorts’ This Weekend and Next
For three decades, Theatre Workshop of Owensboro has set aside a couple of months in the summertime to present six one-act plays that were submitted to a committee as an "audition" of sorts.
Entitled "Summer Shorts," the 2024 collection of plays was chosen from among 80 submissions. This weekend (July 12-14) and next weekend (July 19-21), Theatre Workshop will present the six finalists. There are four comedies and two dramas, and audience members will get to vote for their favorite. So, it's also a competition.
