Multiple Wrecks Around Owensboro Prompting Parents to Enact Their Own Snow Day [POLL]
Local police are working over 60 wrecks on the US-60 By-Pass and around Owensboro currently due to ice on the roadways. Though both Daviess County and Owensboro schools are functioning on a normal schedule today, with such dangerous road conditions some area parents enacted their own school closing or delay this morning.
Stephanie Daugherty posted this to our Facebook page, "I'm keeping my kid off the bus this morn! I'll take her later! Hwy 56 is very slick. Couldn't control my vehicle at all."
Currently, KSP is reporting they are caught up on accidents but the roads are still slick. If you can stay home today, it's advised to stay off the roads.
We want to know if these kids should be excused or unexcused? Take our poll below!
