If you love a good bargain, there are thousands of them at your fingertips this weekend here in Owensboro. My Sister's Keeper, Owensboro's newest emergency shelter for women and children, is hosting their final rummage sale of the season and they're promising that it's going to be their biggest sale to date.

The two-day sale gets underway at 2pm on Friday, June 2nd and will truly feature thousands of items. And here's the best part. Well, okay. There are actually two best parts. #1- All clothing and shoes at the sale are priced at just $1. #2- Nothing in the sale (which also includes household items, toys, games, etc.) is priced over $5.

Angel Welsh, Executive Director of My Sister's Keeper, says they have "tons" of stuff and some tremendous deals up for grabs.

Here's the official flier for the sale.

As you can see, the sale is taking place at 731 Jackson Street here in Owensboro.

All proceeds will benefit My Sister's Keeper Women & Children's Homeless Shelter. While that shelter is not yet open to the public, Angel and her volunteers are already serving women in need in our community and referring them to the proper resources they need to survive and succeed.

Renovations continue on My Sister's Keeper's 4th Street location here in town and Angel's hopeful that the facility will open its doors later this summer.
