A month ago, legendary sports analyst and talk show host Dan Patrick set tongues to wagging with the near-confirmation that Nashville was finally going to be a host city for the Super Bowl.

At the time, he admitted that he hadn't seen it anywhere, but that it was happening. I believed him then, and I really do now. Consider it confirmed.

Music City will roll out the red carpet for the Super Bowl in 2030, and it is about time. Obviously, the game itself is the main point of interest, but the host city has to be next-level when it comes to hospitality. Nashville fits the bill perfectly, and on so many levels.

Nashville Prepares for the 2030 Super Bowl

Now that we know it's going to happen, what's next? Well, the date isn't set in stone, but the last six Super Bowl championships were held on the second Sunday in February. Unless that strategy changes, February 10th will be the 2030 target date.

New Nissan Stadium

On February 29th, 2024, ground was broken for the all-new Nissan Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Titans, with the the plan to make it an attractive venue for the Super Bowl. Last November, at the Nissan Stadium Topping Out Ceremony, NFL commissioner was asked about Nashville's viability as a host for the Big Game.

Well, all questions can now be laid to rest, and Music City can start preparing for Super Bowl LXIV. Nashville's nightlife and accommodation game has probably been on the NFL's radar for some time. Now, that the new Nissan Stadium will be complete by 2027, all systems are go.
