All the new healthcare laws and options can be very confusing. Fortunately, there are people that can help you make the right choices. According to DCPS:

The Daviess County Public School district’s Family Resources and Youth Services Centers are hosting an informational meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Daviess County Middle School for individuals who need assistance with Kentucky’s Healthcare Exchange. DCMS is located at 1415 E. Fourth St.

The meeting is sponsored in partnership with Audubon Area Community Services Inc. A free meal will be provided.

Those attending should take the following documents (as applicable):

  • W-2 forms
  • Tax returns
  • Health insurance cards
  • Pay stubs
  • Social Security award letter
  • Immigration documentation
  • Incarceration release forms

The evening is designed to assist people with signing up for Kentucky’s Healthcare Connection – kynect. Information about new health coverage laws and requirements for avoiding the 2014 tax penalties will be provided. Representatives from Humana will be on hand to answer questions. Those attending the program will have the opportunity to complete all registrations and sign up for the insurance option of their preference at this event.
