A Huge Nerf-Themed Attraction Coming to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
You name it. If it was made by Nerf, I probably had it. Like a lot of kids from the 80s, I grew up on Nerf. I had a Nerf basketball goal in my bedroom.
I had a Nerf ping pong set, which I wore out. I have always been a tennis player and the Nerf ping pong set just gave me a miniature version of tennis to play in the house.
And, of course, like every young renegade, I had Nerf dart guns.
Well, Nerf is still around and it's about to be bigger than ever for folks who like to take family vacations in the Smoky Mountains!
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee will soon be home to the Nerf Action Xperience, which is a massive Nerf extravaganza and play center. The 29,000 square foot attraction is expected to open in the fall of 2024 and, according to a press release from Kingsmen Xperience, Inc. and Hasbro, will feature all sorts of Nerf activities like blaster battle zones (for all you other aspiring renegades), an obstacle course and more. Plus, there will be food, beverages and a Nerf store.
Of course, Pigeon Forge is already an incredibly popular tourist destination that's home to Dollywood, Dolly's Stampede Dinner Show (delicious, by the way), the Titanic museum/experience (a must see), indoor skydiving, numerous family attractions, outlet shopping and more.
A similar Nerf action park is expected to open by the end of this year in New Jersey. There's already a similar attraction in Singapore.
