Don't look now, but, depending on how you look at it, we have passed summer's midway point. If your mindset is dictated by the calendar and astronomy, then we're not. But most people equate either the beginning of the school year (despite the heat) or Labor Day with the end of summer. So yeah, we're about done.

New Southern Indiana ATV Park

And if there are still some gaps to fill before the school bell rings, and you have a taste for adventure, you might want to check out southern Indiana's new ATV park. It's called The Woods ATV Adventures and it's located in Starlight IN. And see? "Adventure" is even in the name. You are in for quite a ride...literally.

The Woods ATV Adventures Is Where Late Summer Fun Begins

I can't think of a better way to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of Starlight IN than zipping along a trail with family and friends at The Woods ATV Adventures. Located just 17 miles to the northwest of Louisville, The Woods offers 500 acres of forest through which you can enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Before you go, understand that The Woods will only currently allow THEIR rental ATVs to be used for trail riding. You'll also need to be aware of what you can and cannot bring to The Woods ATV Adventures, as well as familiarize yourself with Indiana state law regarding ATVs.

Nighttime Adventures and Unusual Attractions in 'The Woods'

And if you want to jazz up your excursion, The Woods now offers night tours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.

Okay, now THAT is what I am talking about right there. And wouldn't that feel amazing in early fall? Yes, I lead with the idea that there's still enough summertime left to get a trip in, but, for me, this sounds like the perfect AUTUMN experience.

Oh, I almost forgot. The Woods ATV Adventures trails come complete with side attractions:

Not ready to think about the end of summer, yet? I don't blame you. "Saddle up" for an exciting day in southern Indiana and venture into "The Woods."
