It's Week #4 for Friday After 5 in downtown Owensboro and this week's celebration will pay tribute to one of the city's most iconic sports heroes- Nicky Hayden!

Friday, June 10th is Nicky Hayden Foundation Night at FA5 and will feature a tribute to "The Kentucky Kid", the 2006 MotoGP World Champion. Of course, Nicky is already immortalized in downtown Owensboro. Shortly after his tragic death, a statue in his likeness was erected near the Owensboro Convention Center.

Fans and locals remember it was May 17th, 2017, when Hayden was cycling in Italy and was hit by a driver. Days later, he died of complications from a brain injury. Though his career was cut short, Hayden's legacy locally, nationally and internationally was already set.  He was a tremendous talent and ambassador for Owensboro and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In addition to Nicky Hayden Foundation Night, Friday After 5 is absolutely loaded up with live music. Here's a look at who's playing, on what stage and when!
